The library is pleased to welcome Nora Zinan, RN, Holistic Nurse for a series of workshops on Essential Oils as part of our Winter Self-Care Series.
December 10: Supporting Health Naturally with Essential Oils
The use of essential oils for healing has existed for thousands of years. As people choose more natural means of healing, they will want to know how plant-based essential oils can help the body heal itself.
January 14: Boosting Immunity with Essential Oils
Essential oils hold the potential to relieve symptoms of many viruses, bacteria, fungus and parasites. Learn which oils can be used to treat toenail fungus, prevent food from spoiling, relieve symptoms of urinary tract and yeast infections and other diseases, and protect against the flu.
February 11: Reducing Pain and Inflammation with Essential Oils
Essential oils can decrease inflammation, soothe nerve pain, heal wounds and decrease the need for strong pain medications. In this class, we look at pain holistically and learn how essential oils can address the many paths that lead to pain.
Nora Zinan is a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of experience that includes teaching. She practices Holistic Nursing which supports healing the mind, body and spirit in natural ways that complement medicine.
These free workshops are funded by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library.
