Hoopla offers free digital magazines, audiobooks, music, and eBooks. All items are always available and can have multiple simultaneous checkouts, so you never have to wait for anything! (GPL cardholders only; limit of 6 items per month.)

Due to funding, GPL has unfortunately made the difficult decision to change the availability of our Hoopla Digital collection. We apologize for any inconvenience and are always doing our best to provide the fullest platform possible.

You may start seeing a message about "daily limits" when you try to borrow materials. This means GPL patrons have reached our daily borrowing limit. Due to Hoopla's popularity, we have placed a cap on the daily cost in order to keep our budget in line. Please note, the "daily limit" notice may or may not appear each day.

You can also register for a Boston Public Library ecard to use their Hoopla Digital subscription (no audiobooks).

For security purposes, the upstairs floor closes 15 minutes before closing time. Main doors are locked 5 minutes before closing.
