Greenfield Public Library's first ever Maker Camp is a two-day event that takes place Tuesday August 24 and Thursday August 26 on the front lawn of the library, weather permitting. This event is being rescheduled due to the heat advisory. All who registered will be contacted about the new date.
Participants will learn how to make their own paper circuits and combine this skill with origami. Projects will include light up greeting cards, shaky race cars, glowing insects and more! Bring your creativity and be prepared to troubleshoot, problem solve and have lots of fun!
The program will run from 1 to 4 pm each day and is intended for youth in grades 5-9.
Pre-registration is required. To register, please email us at: librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org.
This program is made possible through a Maker Camp 2021 kit generously provided by Make: Community, a project collaboration and documentation platform, and the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library.
