Literary Teas at the Greenfield Public Library

Literary Teas at the Greenfield Public Library

Thursday, September 23, 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm
Online

Good books, good tea & good company. What could be better to end your busy day? Literary Teas combines literary works of fiction with cozy cups of locally blended Witch of the Woods tea, from Greenfield’s new tea shop, Alchemy of Avalon. Join Lisa and Diane for a GPL discussion of We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry on Thursday, January 28, at 7 pm via Zoom.

In Barry’s novel, set in the town of Danvers, Massachusetts, home of the original 1692 witch trials, the 1989 Danvers Falcons will do anything to make it to the state finals—even if it means tapping into some devilishly dark powers. Against a background of irresistible 1980s iconography, Quan Barry expertly weaves together the individual and collective progress of this enchanted team as they storm their way through an unforgettable season.
