Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm
402 Main St, Greenfield, MA
Are you interested in becoming a Master Gardener? Would you like to have your garden soil tested? The Greenfield Public Library welcomes the Western Massachusetts Master Gardeners Association on Tuesday, October 12, from 3- 5 pm.
Members of the WMMGA will be on the front lawn of the library to answer questions and offer information about the 2022 Master Gardener Training Class. A new, hybrid model of online and in-person training, taught by many college educators and professionals, will make the class more accessible to everyone. Soil testing will also be available.
The organization sponsors many public gardens and programs throughout Western Mass, and in Franklin County those include providing gardeners at the Greenfield Energy Park, guides at the Bridge of Flowers, offering information and soil testing at Farmers’ Markets in Greenfield and Ashfield, as well the much loved Spring Gardening Symposium.
For more information, call ( 413) 772-1544.
This program, made possible through the generosity of the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to the public. This event is weather dependent.
