Imagine the Possibilities: Fan Fiction at the GPL

Anywhere you are!

The Greenfield Public Library celebrates National Novel Writing Month with “Imagine the Possibilities: Fan Fiction at the GPL”. Working with a series of short creative writing exercises, participants can explore some of their favorite fictional worlds through a shared creative process.

Over five weeks in November, GPL staff will help guide you through a five-act story development process that will move your characters through an exciting Twilight Zone adventure. Participants will spend time developing their characters, face challenges, and find some resolution to their story. Through the wonders of shared Google docs, you will be able to interact with other participants allowing for a fun and collaborative writing experience. The program involves elements of both roleplaying games and fan fiction, with the idea that participants will develop both their creativity and foster a sense of community.

For more information, and to register for the program, email us at librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org, or fill out the Google Form at: https://forms.gle/8jcSGNu3xDt9SBuy7

This program, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for adults ages 18 and older.
