Literary Teas at the GPL Online: Oona Out of

Good books, good tea & good company. What could be better to end your busy day? Literary Teas combines literary works of fiction with cozy cups of local tea, from Greenfield’s new teashop, Alchemy of Avalon. Join Lisa and Diane for a GPL discussion of Oona Out of Order, by Margarita Montimore, on Thursday, November 18, at 7 pm via Zoom.

Margarita Montimore brings us a remarkably inventive novel, which explores what it means to live a life fully in the moment, even if those moments are out of order. As the countdown to the New Year begins, Oona faints and awakens thirty-two years in the future in her fifty-one-year-old body. Oona learns that with each passing year she will leap to another age at random. Hopping through decades, pop culture fads, and much-needed stock tips, Oona is still a young woman on the inside but ever changing on the outside.

Copies of the book are available at the Library. To register for the Zoom link, request a copy, and reserve your cup of tea, email: librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org.

This program, sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to the public.
