Greenfield Public Library's Spice Club: Coriander

Greenfield Public Library's Spice Club: Coriander

Monday, June 13, None Specified
Everywhere

Do you love to cook and want to try new flavors and recipes? Are you tired of cooking the same old thing and want to try something new?

We have just the recipe…time to get spicy and join the Greenfield Public Library’s Spice Club!

Each month we will feature a new spice and make it available in a take-home kit; in June, the spice is coriander. Each kit will contain a small sample of the spice, recipes, a brief history, and links to our library databases featuring recipes that use the spice.

We are exploring the spices often found in the spice blend Garam Masala. (Spoiler Alert: we will be adding a little extra of each monthly spice for you to save and make your own Garam Masala for December’s recipes).

Registration is required, and supplies are limited. Be sure to register individually if you have more than one person to sign up. You can register each month for your spice kit at:

https://forms.gle/RckqM1rm8UN9WHRY6. Registration opened Monday, June 6.

June spice kits will be available to pick up on Monday, June 13, at the Main Circulation Desk.

This program, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 13 and over.
