Take & Makes for Tiny Hands at the GPL

Tuesday, January 17, 9:30 am
402 Main St, Greenfield, MA

Stop by the Greenfield Public Library to pick up the new “Take & Make for Tiny Hands” kits, inspired by a similar program at the Boston Children’s Museum. The kits, available for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers, are designed to help develop and practice fine motor skills.

Fine motor skills are the ability to make small movements in hands, fingers and wrists. They use the muscles that children will need for school tasks and in everyday life, like holding a pencil or tying their shoes. Our kits will feature counting and color matching with mini clothespins, as well as a lacing activity for kids and caregivers to explore together.

Kits will be available in the Children’s Room on a first-come first-served basis starting January 17.

This program, generously funded by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. *Adult supervision is recommended*
