Join us at the GPL for our bi-monthly virtual book discussion, as we explore different authors and genres. This month we are exploring history with Imani Perry’s book, South to America: A Journey Below the Mason Dixon to Understand the Soul of a Nation.

South to America is an examination of America’s racial, cultural, and political identity. Imani Perry melds history, travel narrative, and memoir in an intimate, penetrating journey through the South, from the Mason-Dixon Line to Florida, West Virginia, and the Bahamas.

The book is available at the library in regular, large print, and audiobook form. South to America is also available in an e-book and e-audio format.
