Good books, good tea & good company. What could be better to end your busy day? Literary Teas combines literary works of fiction with cozy cups of local tea, from Greenfield’s local tea shop, Alchemy of Avalon. Join Lisa and Diane for a GPL discussion of A Study in Scarlet Women, by Sherry Thomas, on Thursday, February 16, at 7 pm via Zoom.
In the first novel of Thomas' "Lady Sherlock series", Charlotte Holmes is uncomfortable with the demureness expected of the fairer sex in upper class society. When the city is struck by a trio of unexpected deaths and suspicion falls on her sister and her father, Charlotte is desperate to find the true culprits and clear the family name. Under the assumed name Sherlock Holmes, she challenges society’s expectations and matches wits against an unseen mastermind.
Copies of the book are available at the Library. To register for the Zoom link, request a copy, and reserve your cup of tea email: librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org
