Join us on Saturday, Family Storytime with local Children’s author and illustrator, Astrid Scheckels. She will be reading from her brand-new book, SEA DOG.
Astrid Scheckels, also known for her award-winning Hector Fox series, Astrid cannot remember a time when she was not telling or illustrating stories, especially ones involving imaginary animals. Astrid is a member of The Western Mass Illustrators Guild and The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has won a number of art awards, including the Northern Lights Book Award for best author/illustrator.
We will also be unveiling the NEW limited edition library card design featuring Astrid’s original art!
