Bookends, a collaboration between Greenfield Community College and Greenfield Public Library, is an intergenerational book group with a focus on discussions that are based on different backgrounds and perspectives as a means to bring our community closer together. This program is open to the general public and intended for ages 13 - 130. We meet 4 times a year and our first book is the memoir “Crying in H Mart” by Michelle Zauner from the band Japanese Breakfast.
Meeting #1: Thursday, August 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room ~ Join us to learn more about Crying in H Mart and what Bookends is all about. Pizza will be served, books will be handed out and you'll get a chance to meet other readers.
Meeting #2: Thursday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room ~ Join us to discuss Crying in H Mart and sample Korean foods plus vote on our next book title!
