While Ancestry.com is usually only available for use on the library computers (in-house use), during the COVID-19 crisis, they are allowing Greenfield residents* to access it from home! This searchable database will allow you to find ancestors and relations using names, dates and locations, and is a great tool. Click on the website link above, enter your library card and PIN (from the catalog) and click on the Greenfield link to get started!
*Please note, if you have a GPL card but don't live in Greenfield, you will not be able to log in to this resource.
Feel free to ask a Librarian at the Information Desk if you need any help with your research. It is a good idea to call before visiting the library to make sure an Information Services staff member will be available to assist you.
If you would like assistance with our Microfilm machine please make an appointment with an Information Services Librarian so that you can make the most out of your visit!

For some of these resources, you will be prompted for your library card barcode number. Some databases can only be used with a GPL card.
